Samsung Electronics holds 'Windless Energy Festa'
From April 1 to May 31, Samsung Electronics will hold the "Windless Energy Festa," which offers various benefits for the purchase of 2023 windless air conditioners at stores nationwide.
The more energy efficiency you buy, the greater the benefits you receive. If you purchase a 2023 Bespoke windless air conditioner with energy consumption efficiency level 1, you will receive benefits worth up to 700,000 won depending on the cooling area. There will also be a trade-in sale for customers who have existing air conditioners: compensation benefits worth up to 300,000 won for the purchase of the event model and 100,000 won for the purchase of a windless system air conditioner for home use.
When purchasing a windless system air conditioner for home use, a fan worth 150,000 won along with an additional free plumbing installation service comes along.
Samsung Electronics launched the Bespoke Windless Air Conditioner Gallery in January this year, which has been further evolved by reducing energy usage.
Samsung Electronics introduces the Holy See Swiss Guard equipped with security solution 'Knox'
The Vatican Guard's security system, equipped with Samsung's advanced security solution "Knox," has been unveiled. The company announced in its newsroom on March 24 that the Knox Suite is being used in the Vatican's Swiss Guard security system.
The Knox Suite is designed to make it easy to deploy and manage the devices used by the Guard. Administrators can remotely monitor and manage the location of all security devices, as well as remotely erase data if devices are lost or stolen.
If a security threat is anticipated, threat information can be shared in real time on multiple devices held by the Vatican Guard. The patrol leader can check the deployment status of all members at a glance, which is effective in responding to emergency situations. In consideration of security excellence as well as durability, the Galaxy Xcover Pro and Galaxy Tab Active series were supplied to the Holy See Guard. They are IP68 rated, protecting devices from water and dust and the ruggedness required by U.S. military standards (MIL-STD-810).
Samsung Electronics explained that the Galaxy Tab Active 2 is especially important in emergency situations due to its good touch even when wearing gloves considering the Guard's outfit, and the battery life is long. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a clear, high-resolution display and supports the 'Push to talk' function, which is a radio communication method. Vatican City receives an average of 25,000 visitors a day.
