Since opening in 2023, Omega Math and Science Academy has been teaching math and science to middle and high school students, differentiating itself and increasing its name value. Director Choi Hee-sun is a former pharmacist who has achieved rapid growth in a short period of time since opening the academy and has become famous in the Guri-Namyangju area. “I worked as an instructor at a large academy and found that teaching children was something I enjoyed. So I finished the national pharmacist exam and jumped into the academy business. I chose to live as an educator who can help students open up a bright future and contribute to Korean education, and I am now working with satisfaction in that choice.”

Choi says “It is important to provide students with the necessary educational curriculum and study programs, but I also try to motivate them to study by giving them a primal story about why they should study, so that they are actively motivated to study. I try to make them realize that studying is a lifelong learning process, not just a one-time thing, so that no matter what they do in the future, they will always be learning. I focus on helping them to broaden their horizons and take ownership of their studies by instilling in them the attitude of never giving up and persistence, so that they can use it as an asset and foundation for whatever they do. I am fortunate that my students understand and follow my teaching philosophy, so they are proactive in their studies and continue to improve their grades, which makes teaching and learning with them enjoyable and rewarding.”
