Jeongju opens Youth Imagination Playground
Jeonju City opened the Youth Imagination Playground and held the opening ceremony and project orientation. The 3 story building is consisted of various rooms for startup, startup support, startup core space and joint startup support. The first floor is designed for meeting and communication and networking and has communal kitchen and bar. An official of the city’s new growth engine division said “Many young people today are having difficulty in finding jobs and tend to depend more on their parents. They are physically tired and mentally shamed and negative about themselves and the society. So, the playground will provide a space for them to bring up something positive and creative either alone or through cooperation. The role of the city is to provide necessary support continuously as they are the future of Jeonju and also the future of Korea.”
