The semiconductor specialist Microworks Korea grabbed up the Million Dollar Export Tower at the 55th Trade Day Reward Ceremony held at COEX on 7 December this year.
Microworks Korea has shown excellence in semiconductor, memory, SSD and MCU and increased the export volume by 297.2% on last year; it is 107.4% average increase for the last 3 years with US$1.5M (approx. 1.7 billion won) export. The company signed partnership with GE, Giemens, Hyundai Mobis, LS industrial Systems, Samsung S1, SK, KT and a number of SMEs for supply of its semiconductor parts.
Followed by the 55th Trade Day Reward Ceremony, Microworks Korea received a citation as an excellent export enterprise at the 2018 Gyeonggi Foreign-invested Company’s Day held on 13 December by the Gyeonggi Exporter Association; the citation was given from the Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator.
Formerly, Microworks Korea won the 2017 National Veterans and Peace Contribution Awards in the global management innovation category and the 2017 Korea Future Management Awards in the semiconductor export category.
