Hyundai Motor presents advanced air mobility vision
Hyundai Motor presented its advanced air mobility vision at the AAM Tech Day 2022 held at Hyundai Motor Studio, Goyang, May 25. 100 professors and students in the field were invited to the presentation and the presenter introduced AAM to also embrace regional air mobility for eco-friendly future mobility between regions. The presentation gave details on AAM automatic driving, AAM electric drive, gas concept, and taxing and landing R&D. The company established Supernal last November and it is an aviation mobility corporation based in the US. The company is showing its feat at the Farnborough Airshow, UK, July this year. On the day, the South Korean car giant also unveiled the results of its hydrogen fuel cell research projects ‘multicopter drone’ and ‘project N’.
Hyundai presented human-centered integrated mobility vision
Hyundai presented its human-centered integrated mobility vision at the World Economic Forum held at Davos, Switzerland, from 22 to 26 May. The forum was held in 2 years due to the pandemic and it was themed on History at a Turning Point. The company CEO Youngjo Ji says that they should take active part for building integrated mobility solutions and services that embrace carmakers, car parts suppliers and mobility software companies. He emphasized their role on building traffic-based services, building multi-modal services platforms, and development of vulnerable road users-friendly solutions. For this, the South Korean car giant signed a MOU with JTC, an affiliate of Singaporean government to build optimized mobility services solutions in the Jurong Innovation District, Singapore. The company also joined hands with Incheon to provide smartphone-based integrated mobility arrangement services for bus and e-kic board, etc. <PowerKorea>
