Park Wan-soo, governor of South Gyeongsang Province, visits Robot Land

Building Gusan Marine Tourism Complex, turning southern coast for tourism

Governor Park Wan-soo of South Gyeongsang Province on December 3 visited the sites of Robot Land and Gusan Marine Tourism Complex to check the progress. Visiting Robot Land, he asked, “I will place an order so that not only the theme park but also the Convention Center in Robot Land can be revitalized, and he will actively support the companies in the Robot R&D Center so that they can achieve good results.” Opened in 2019, Robot Land consists of a theme park, research facilities, and activity facilities. The theme park is steadily visited by students and family visitors, and the second phase of the project, such as the construction of hotels and condominiums, is also planned to be built. Governor Park said, “If the Gusan Marine Tourism Complex is created, great synergy is expected in revitalizing tourism in south coast along with Robot Land. I will actively recommend it to the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to promote the project as soon as possible.” Following this, Governor Park visited the site of the Ungdong district 1 development site. Currently, only a golf course is being built in Ungdong district 1, but it has been suspended for a long time, and Governor Park is looking for a solution.
