Milda is easy to use for children and the elderly, with a smooth 1-step opening process rather than the 3-step process of grasping, turning, and opening when using a door handle. The premium push-pull door knob has five patented technologies. The company was awarded a gold medal at the Seoul International Invention Fair in 2022 and a gold and silver medal for patents at the Korea International Women’s Invention Expo in 2023. The anti-panic, standard push-pull locking and 90-degree rotating latch unit technologies received the SMEs and Startups Minister’s prize as a special award. Milda is equipped with an anti-panic feature that unlocks with a simple pull of the handle, without the need to unlock it, to help children and the elderly escape quickly and safely in the event of a fire or earthquake, as well as a private security key feature, and 90-degree swivel latch technology, a key feature of barrier-free push-pull handles.
