KOTRA and the Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy attend ground breaking ceremony for the Korean pavilion set to open at Osaka Expo 2025
The ceremony was held on February 28 in Osaka. 150 countries and international organizations are set to participate in the expo from April 13 to October 13 and around 28 million people are expected to visit. The Korean pavilion brought up a title 'connecting hearts, lives in bloom'. The Korean pavilion will showcase South Korea's AI, new renewable energy and other cutting edge technologies. Attended by many officials home and abroad, KOTRA said at the ceremony that it would provide unsparing support for successfully holding the expo and successfully running the Korean pavilion.
KOTRA makes safe way for schools
KOTRA held the ‘KOTRA-Multicultural Family Center Global Safety Day’ at its headquarters in Yeomgok-dong on February 27th. At the event, KOTRA's in-house safety and health club 'Security Lab' and volunteer club 'Left Hands' held a '1 for 1 campaign' in which executives and employees donated one set to the local community for each set purchased, and donated 200 sets of safety straps. The ‘safety reflective strap’ presented on this day is made of fluorescent reflective material so that drivers can easily identify children walking at night or in cloudy weather, and is designed in the shape of KOTRA’s character, Globi, so that it can be hung on a school bag or carrier.
