Established by Dongyeok Kim as Sabu Distribtuion in 1996, Sintong Chicken hit $86M sales last year. He once was a franchisee of a chicken franchise but started his own business with his 20 years of knowhow in the field. Kim says “I wanted to make a franchisee-friendly franchise. I signed a wholesale agreement with central-supplying type distributors to provide 100% fresh Korean chicken and introduced HACCP approved facilities for strict hygiene.” Sintong Chicken is fresh, clean, crispy and tasty and you can feel a sense of good old traditional chicken.

Kim says “Many of the franchisees became our family by a recommendation of the existing franchisees even though we did not do much commercials. Some of our head office staff are also running their own store.”
