The number of people suffering from musculoskeletal disorders is on the rise. Once associated with older people, these conditions are now common among younger generations, and in some cases, children. Lack of exercise is pointed out as one of the reasons. For these people with lack of exercise, Suseong Kids Stretching Director Eunjeong Ko has published a book that makes it easy to incorporate stretching into your daily routine. The book contains stretching know-how and teaches you how to stimulate and energize your body.

No prerequisite learning is required!

Ko launched Suseong Kids Stretching in 2020 and held her stretching guide book launch ceremony at Daegu Grand Hotel on June 22. After graduating from the Department of Sports Science at Chung-Ang University, she has been working as a ballet fit, stretching, and rhythmic gymnastics instructor for many years. She is a stretching expert who teaches how to increase flexibility for each age group, from children to adults, and how to become healthy and flexible. The 50-minute, group, bare-bones, height-growth & posture-building kids stretching class is a weekly and high-intensity workout method that is perfect for kids, and is a great way to increase their fitness levels while providing a moderate workout. The 40-minute full-body stretching program for adults is designed to help office workers and men and women in their 40s and 50s reduce musculoskeletal pain with light flexibility activities that don’t take up a lot of time. This is a cardio and endurance workout that uses the major joints of the skeleton to reduce intra-articular stiffness and increase mobility. It also runs a two-hour rhythmic gymnastics class and a 50-minute private lesson.

Stretch your body with this easy-to-do guide book!

Ko believes that every exercise basically is about warming-up. She says that stretching is the foundation of all movement and exercise, and that stretching is more than just warming up, it’s a full-body workout. “It is important to make stretching a part of your daily routine to avoid musculoskeletal pain, which everyone can experience at least once. If you make stretching a routine by combining several movements for 3 minutes a day, you can maintain a healthy body” advises Ko. The stretching guide book she recently published does not require pre-learning.

It contains stretching methods that children and families can do together in their daily lives wherever they are. In particular, it helps kids grow taller by doing just a 10 minute stretching a day. This book includes photographs and instructions for each exercise, explaining the parts of the body that are stimulated and the effects of each exercise, as well as factors to be aware of when performing them. “Stretching probably is the easiest and simplest exercise we all can do without a limit to space and time. The book contains years of my experience and knowhow and from children to adults everybody can easily follow and see the power of stretching as a result” says Ko.
