KOTRA and MOTIE dispatch an ICT delegation

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and KOTRA organized the 2025 Korea ICT Roadshow in the Middle East on February 20th and 21st to support the entry of Korean ICT companies into the Middle East on the occasion of the signing of the Korea-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in May 2024. It is expected to be a significant occasion for strengthening ICT and innovation industry cooperation between the two countries. Middle Eastern countries are prioritizing digital transformation and the adoption of advanced future technologies as national top priorities to move away from an economy reliant on the oil industry. In particular, Dubai aims to become a global innovation hub by unveiling an AI blueprint, appointing Chief AI Officers in various government agencies, and promoting the establishment of the world's largest AI and technology company hub, known as the 'AI and Web3 Incubator.' The roadshow was the first of its kind in the Middle East, featuring 26 Korean companies with innovative technologies in the following areas: smart cities, cybersecurity, robotics, autonomous driving, AI solutions and services. A total of 16 MOUs were signed.

KOTRA and MOTIE hold Logistics Career Camp

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and KOTRA organized the Logistics Career Camp at KOTRA's headquarters on February 20th to train logistics experts and support young job seekers. Now in its fifth year, this event aimed to connect logistics professionals with job seekers, share industry trends and recruitment information, and provide practical assistance for job preparation. This year's event was held in collaboration with the Korea Youth Logistics Forum, the largest youth logistics organization in the country. Established in 2007, this organization serves as a platform for young people interested in the logistics to exchange information and form networks. Representatives from related companies provided company introductions and recruitment information, and during the Q&A session, job seekers were able to freely ask questions and receive answers about the industry.
